Just last sunday, I managed to trap a stray female cat. She is a really smart one and not easy to fool into a cat trap.
Somehow, on that sunday, she was too hungry to care about the trap being a threat to her; and so she walked into the trap. I was just too glad to hold on to her and send her right away to the vet to be spayed the next day! So happy!
Just yesterday, the vet called. She said the stray had already been spayed! and she told me that she was likely to be spayed by SPCA as there is a tatoo on her ear..... The vet asked if I was aware; well, how could I be aware since I had no idea that SPCA practices tatooing the stray's ear once it is spayed!
Sigh, so much done for such a blunder! Poor stray had to go through the stress of being trapped the 2nd time to be spayed!! Oh! I asked the vet to tip the stray's ear, so that it is greatly obvious that she is already spayed and to save her from being trapped the 3rd or umpteen times by some kind soul, who just wants to prevent her from unwanted pregnancy...
Anyway, went to fetch the stray last night. She hissed at me. Yes. my fault la....
When I released her back to her familiar grounds > a huge lorry car park, she casually walked back to greet me again as I stood up to keep the cat trap. I guess she has forgiven me! So sweet!
Left her a chunk of dry food before I drive home for a late dinner. My heart was singing to the stray's freedom!
