Bee's First Trapping of a Stray

Bee will try to trap a stray in her area. Toally away from mine. She is in the west. Jurong.

I wish her well!

Will be helping her drive the stray to the vet tonight.

Thank God for Dad's lorry!

New stray found

Found 3 new stray cats in my area.

All look young and all looked like abandoned too.

My mom said that likely some irresponsible soul saw me feeding stray and so decided that I can be a convenient solution to take care of them. For sure, that soul is cruel to think that way. Now, I hope to get them familiarise to their new homeless life and then spay them for good.

Lately that man, who hates cats and attacks them when he finds a chance, tried to attack a stray while it was eating. He threw a plastic stool hard and loud but missed the cat. I could see, from opposite the road, that it ran for its life while that man looked at it angrily.

Just few days' back, that man re-appeared at the same place hoping that the stray will be there to eat. This time I avoid feeding any stray there. Anyway, he didn't see it and so he left.

I wrote to TODAY expressing my concern. But my article was rejected. Then I wrote to OMY, a chinese media, to express the same article. Till now, I don't hear a thing; I guess it has been forgotten. The article revealed the disappointment of calling the police when it comes to animal abuse, and also views on police refering us to SPCA saying it's their job to help us. But then, SPCA staff are not trained to subdue violent man, so how can we expect SPCA to stop a violent man from attacking animals? Are they trained in self-defence and conflict mediation? If not, then why on earth refer animal abuse cases to SPCA?

This morning, I walked past the same place. I saw a new stray there, fed her while i stand watching. If that man shows up, he is likely hurl words at me and spit. I had ever referred to the polcie for the spitting gester, police came but didn't take any action but copy down my ID. I was totally disappointed. I doubted their ability to protect civilians who really need one. They would perhaps be better off coming to the 'after-crime' scene and then do something to slavage what that is already been damaged - whether it is a life or a thing.

  1. Fur everywhere in the house and ON YOU.
  2. Occasional Smell of cat waste when the cool wind blows past the utility room where the cat litter box is.
  3. Having 'someone' sleeping with you and ON YOU as and when it wants to.
  4. Wash after its food bowl, water fountain, cat litter.
  5. Brush its body to get rid of some fur sheds.
  6. Brush its teeth, cut its nails, clean its eyes and nose.
  7. Entertain it when it is BORED just looking at you.
  8. Spend some good money getting it toys and treats.
  9. Vet visits.

This siamese cat fixed for good

She is likely to be a house cat that is allowed to roam outside! Very friendly! And also, Often seen pregnant. poor thing too.
on seeing her pregnant again, decided to spay her for good.
she came into the cage on her own. Ate to her fullest satisfaction of can food and dry food, then drove her to the vet.
she should be fine to go 'home' tomorrow night. Am sure she will be way better after this.
why some owners let their cats roam outside and then get pregnant and then we start seeing kittens thrown out to the streets? can never understand. ..but helping this siamese girl is definitely a good joy for me!

Pity these cats - They have become stray now

They belonged to a malay lady. She has since decided to give them up and dumped them, together with 4 other cats.

All the love that she had had mentioned to me months ago that she will not dump them is cheap love.

They are now disposable love.

I do not know if they have survived the dump. I pray that I will see them in heaven together with the others whether they are alive now or they have since died from the harsh human society.

Malay lady claimed she dumped them nearby, I shall see. It is not wise to believe her words now. She carried no weight on responsibility and accountability.

To the malay lady, the cats are just animals.

To the animals, she is EVERYTHING.

Look at your pet in the eyes, they speak. It's language of love.

Lots to learn about love through your own pets' eyes and their body language.

Burger Boy growing up well

He has since learnt to master the skills of climbing up and down the cat trees and the slope and the cat walk.
He still needs to practice on speed though =]
My mom finally saw him on Saturday when she popped by to see the other 5. Used to call my 5 cats as Hi5. But now cannot call that since it's 6 now...still thinking what is a good name to call all 6 of them.
Anyway, glad that my mom has accepted this little fellow. yes. she did start with saying that I am crazy to have 6 cats in the house.... But she ended saying that the 6th is equally cute=]
I will work hard at providing for them=]
And also for providing for my mom.

One more stray passed away

Sad evening.

Saw him laying face down in the car park where he hangs out with the rest of the strays.

Walked closer to find out what happened to him, he seemed to have died for more than a day.

Eyes all popped out. Body all swollen up like a ball.

I cannot imagine what he had had gone through before his last breath.

Will miss him.

He is very gentle mannered fellow.

Never expect that he will leave for heaven so soon.

Ginger Boy down with flu again

Poor boy is down with flu again.

He's is on isolation room - my other bedroom that is.

Have to separate him from my other 5 just to be sure they don't catch it!

Well, it's the 3rd day of isolation now.

Every night, I'd spend 30mins in the the room with the little fellow and then 30mins out in the living room with the 5. Dash is hoping so hard that little fellow can come out and play sooner!

Well, like me, we all will have to be patient and see little one get well before the party continues!

Ginger Boy got adopted - I have to get use to his absence now

Last evening, he has gone to a new home. He was cool and quiet throughout the journey there.

When he arrived, he got easy in a while and started running around his new playhouse.

It was a difficult decision to let him go....but if there is someone out there who can give him the good life he deserves, why not! ... yah. easy to say on the blog... but I will miss him for now...

Got to learn to let go ...

Anyway, see this cute lady kitten? She could be Ginger's playmate. Ginger's new owner,Farouk, helped to foster her and her other identical sibling - also a girl. And if he may, he would just keep them and that will make 2 playmates for Ginger Boy!

I would love to see them together when I visit Ginger sometime later.

This morning woke up knowing his absence...got to get use to that now. It is indeed something I have to deal with whenever kittens get adopted to new homes and they are gone from my home 'suddenly'.

How's my big boy Dash handling the loss of a small playmate? I think he will be fine till maybe the next kitten that I rescue to foster, he will get a small playmate again.

Bob tail ginger stray passed away

Flowers to bob tail ginger stray. He is less than 3 year old spayed stray living near a mechanic shop in Sin Ming .

A cat care giver friend found him foaming at his mouth late last night during feeding time. She tried to call me for help, but I was already in deep sleep...I didn't hear the phone ring at all.

At 10am today, she told me he had passed away in his painful sleep in her house...

She was kind. She actually make effort to find a bag to put bob tail in and bring him back to her home to try and get him well.

That effort paid off because she did provide a safe place for his last night here on earth.

All pets go heaven. All pets. Amen

Ginger Boy at Home - Jonah very upset - VERY

Ginger Boy got used to my place by the 2nd day. He runs around the house freely. I didn't keep him in a room since I don't have a empty room to do so.

But, because of him roaming freely, all my 5 cats were even more upset that their home has a new smell - a 6th cat from nowhere?! Why is he here in the 1st place? Isn't 5 enough?!!

Jonah may seemed relax in these photos. BUT she was very very upset ever since Ginger Boy came into this house.

She hisses at every other cat and even attacks her brother - Dash.

Dash was getting used to Ginger Boy, but Jonah simply cannot accept the little one at all. She sits up high and looked down at it all day and then hisses when any one cat walks past her.

She still comes to me when I call on her, but she is now always on guard even when I cuddle her.

Praying that she will be fine and that Ginger Boy will find a home way sooner!
I didn't get any good sleep last night becuase Jonah was groaning and hissing and holwing away...whole night... and then attackes Dash....

Ginger Boy

Got an email from Ginger Boy's potential owner. She and her family may have to be relocated to Switzerland within a short notice, and so she might not be able to adopt ginger boy at all...

Hmm...now he is back onto the adoption bulletin to find a new home that will take him in for sure...
I was really really happy for him when I heard that he was going to this owner who owns a land in netherlands for her pets to roam freely... Ginger Boy could have gone to that land of freedom!
Well, may he find yet another good home to go to soon. Now, he has to get use to my 5 cats at home.

Felt great! Did something to help these felines .. they are not mine..

These 3 kittens were formerly from a home that provided really bad living condition to them due to the humans themselves having poor living condition.

The kittens, together with 7 other cats, are locked up the whole day in a small utility room where there is no sufficient food, water nor proper cat litter when the owner is out making a living. That made them hungry, thirsty and no where to poo or pee but just anywhere in the utility room. The owner works long hours. She leaves the house early morning and returns only after 9pm to let the cats out for a breather.

The kittens are often showered as they will smell of feaces and urine. They are hungry, thirsty and smelly all the time as they will be locked back into the same smelly room during the day and showered again during the nights.

I am just so glad that this 3 have found a new home and they have their own food bowl and water bowl right now!

By the way, the ginger boy has his name : Oscar, and his first playmate is a dog named Rosie. See below =]]]

This boy is the sibling of the above 3. He is equally cute. But he has flu now. The vet is caring for him till I find a home for him. That is going to burn a hole in my pocket as all the waiting is money money money! Well, I'll just have to work doubly more hours to get some extra $ in to pay those 'stray cat' bills.

i hope he finds a new home soon!

This is Mila, the kittens' mom. She was previously an abandoned pregnant cat, picked up by the human family. Now, she too is locked up in the utility room during the day and gets a few hours out at night smelling like feaces.

She was recommended to someone for adoption this morning, i hope it works out fine for her. And that she gets out of the shit hole with the current living condition.

I have spayed her recently so she won't be giving birth to any kittens for good. Now, she just needs to get a life.

This is Win. She is Mila's kid. Also spayed her for good.

I don't know if I can ever get her adopted as she does not look too pretty to start with.

The current owner 'promised' that she won't abandon her, I pray for her new life to draw near !

New water fountain for my hi5!

Take a look at Sushi's latest looks too. She is growing up strong and well under my sister's lovely care.

Sushi prays.....till sleeps...and then wakes up to be jumpy like a flea again!

Thanks to my brother-in-law for helping me purchase this bigger fountain for my 5 darlings =}

They love th water flow and certainly are drinking more now!

The old fountain is too small to cater to 5 cats' drinking and this new one is very good!
